  • Our Client will inspect 100% of works. If you backfill with anything other than Type 1 quarry stone, you will be asked to re-excavate it all and reinstall it correctly.

  • Following backfill, have you left the correct minimum depth for the Surface Course? (tarmac, concrete, block pave etc.)

  • Have all tarmac edges been cut vertical and straight with no breaches of 150mm or 250mm rule?

  • If edges are not cut vertical and straight or the 150mm or 250mm rule has been left behind, a defect will be issued by the Local Authority.
