Fire Prevention and Emergency

  • Are all employees aware of the assembly point as provided by the principal contractor?

Personal Protective Equipment

  • Is Hi Vis being worn in work areas and is it in good condition?

  • Is footwear in good condition with appropriate ankle protection?

  • Is head protection worn correctly and where required?

  • Is eye protection being worn as per RAMS or PC requirements?

  • Is hand protection being worn as per RAMS or PC requirements?

  • Is hearing protection being worn as per RAMS?

  • Is respiratory protection being worn where required, (FFP3)?

Housekeeping

  • Has the PC provided appropriate bins and skips to be utilised?

  • Are all tools appropriately stored when not in use?

  • Is waste and debris removed on completion of the task?

  • Are materials stored correctly and is there sufficient room provided?

Trip and Fall Safety

  • Are areas where work is taking place even and uncluttered

  • Are appropriate barrier systems in place to prevent falls?

  • Are personnel below protected from falling materials?

Hand and Power Tools

  • Are Hand and Power Tools to be inspected in this audit?

  • Are all power tools in good condition?

  • Are all leads in good condition

  • Are they stored in the correct place when not in use?

  • Are dust collectors (type H vacuum/ collection bag) and exhausts fitted on tools that produce large amounts of dust?

  • Are defective pieces of equipment and tools red tagged and removed from service?
