PRE-ARRIVAL

  • All A/C GSE serviced and ready. Pre-flight arrival/safety briefing (a.k.a. huddle) held.

  • Ramp personnel at gate 5-15 min before arrival

  • FOD walk complete and Operational Safety/Diamond Zone cleared of FOD before A/C arrival

  • Gate area clean and orderly. Proper number of safety cones/delineators and chocks available

  • Jetbridge / Boarding Ramp stowed properly (Designated spot or fully retracted) prior to A/C arrival

  • GSE properly staged and Operational Safety/Diamond Zone cleared of equipment and personnel before A/C arrival

  • Marshaler and wingwalkers in position for A/C arrival with proper safety wands (night wands as required)

  • Stop line identified.

ARRIVAL

  • Marshaller and wingwalkers in proper position (Able to observe one another) and marshaller maintained eye contact with filght crew. Used proper hand singals.

  • Tow-in procedures properly followed (If Applicable)

  • Safe to approach signal given by Marshaller ONLY when engines off, nose chocked & beacon off. Crew does not approach A/C until receiving the "safe to approach" signal from the Marshaller

  • A/C parked correctly on designated stop line. Properly chocked (follow carrier procedure). No GSE operated in Operational safety/Diamond Zone during A/C Arrival

  • Proper number and placement of safety cones/delineators in place. GSE not positioned or approached A/C until aircraft was properly chocked and safety cones/delineators in place

  • Arrival walkaround properly conducted with purpose (noticeable) and within the required time period

  • GPU tongue disconnected from tow vehicle prior to connecting to A/C

  • Fixed or towable GPU properly connected to aircraft within the preferred time

  • Tail Stand properly installed within the required time (If Applicable)

  • Conditioned air properly connected and within preferred time

PASSENGER LOADING BRIDGE

  • Loading bridge pre-use checklist posted and followed

  • Loading bridge positioning procedures followed. Does not approach aircraft without marshaller. Marshaller used proper hand signals.

  • Inspection of passenger boarding door and surrounding area completed prior to opening

  • Passenger doors opened and secured properly. Mobile bridge adapter readily available, positioned and properly secured

PASSENGER/CREW STAIRS

  • Passenger/crew stairs pre-use inspection completed

  • Passenger/crew staris positioning procedures followed. Does not approach aircraft without marshaller. Marshaller used proper hand signals.

  • Inspection of passenger boarding door and surrounding area completed prior to opening

  • Passenger doors opened and secured properly. Mobile bridge adapter readily available, positioned and properly secured

PERSONNEL

  • Wearing proper PPE and proper uniform. Ramp personnel wearing hearing protection and reflective vests on arrival

  • Exhibited appropriate work behavior (i.e. no horseplay). Exhibited sense of urgency and awareness of operational timelines while following safe work practices. Processes completed with purpose.

  • Ramp personnel avoided walking where not authorized (i.e. under fuselage, stepping over towbar, between bag carts.

  • All traffic regulations procedures followed. GSE operated within safety requirements (i.e. speed, seatbelts used at all times)

  • Describe the threat(s). How did the crew manage or mismanage the threat(s)?

  • Describe the crew error(s) and associated undesired aircraft states.
