Contract Details:

  • The subcontractor will receive an agreed contract payment(s) without entitlement to pay for overtime, holidays, country money, travel and subsistence or other expenses payment?

Tablet Agreement:

  • Should the subcontractor and /or operatives working on behalf of the subcontractor be given the use of an electronic tablet for the purpose of the contract, the subcontractor hereby confirms;

    • The subcontractor understands that they are responsible for this equipment and that they will care for it in a manner as to prevent loss or damage.

    • In the case of any loss, damages or abuse of the tablet, the subcontractor understands that they will be held responsible for the replacement costs of the tablet.

    • The subcontractor understands that upon termination of the contract with Glenevin Construction Ltd, the tablet must be returned in proper working order.

Self-Billing Arrangement

  • This is an agreement to a self-billing procedure between:
    GLENEVIN CONSTRUCTION LTD: VAT Number: 165 6225 05
    and the aforementioned Sub-contractor.

    Glenevin Construction Ltd agrees:

    1. To issue self-billed invoices for all supplies made to them by the supplier/subcontractor for the duration of the contract.

    2. To complete self-billed invoices showing the supplier's name, address and VAT registration number, together with all the other details which constitute a full VAT invoice.

    3. To make a new self-billing agreement in the event that their VAT registration number changes.

    4. To inform the supplier/subcontractor if the issue of the self-billed invoices will be outsourced to a third party.

    The self-billee agrees:

    1. To accept invoices raised by the supplier/subcontractor on their behalf until the duration of the contract.

    2. Not to raise sales invoices for the transactions covered by the agreement.

    3. To notify the customer immediately if they
    • Change their VAT registration number.
    • Cease to be VAT registered.
    • Sell their business or part of their business.
    • Change Company Name.

Insurance & Indemnities:

  • The Subcontractor shall at all times indemnify Glenevin Construction Ltd against all liabilities to other persons for bodily injury, damage to property or other loss which may arise out of or in consequence of the execution, completion or maintenance of the works and against all costs, charges and expenses that may be occasioned to Glenevin Construction Ltd by the claims of such persons.

    The Subcontractor is required to have and maintain in force for the duration of the works, up to the completion of the Main Contract works policies of insurance as follows;

    Contractors All Risks - covering the permanent works as described, any associated temporary works, plant, machinery, equipment, temporary buildings and contents.

    Public Liability - providing a minimum indemnity for any one incident not less than 10 million pounds and unlimited in aggregate.

    Employer's Liability - providing a minimum indemnity of 10 million pounds.

    Motor Vehicles - in compliance with the requirements of the Road Traffic Act and providing a minimum indemnity of 5 million pounds in respect of property damage, covering all vehicles brought onto the site or used for carrying out the works as described.

    The Subcontractor shall produce for inspection prior to commencement on site, the policies of insurance required above and receipts for payment of the premiums. In the event of any failure by the Subcontractor to comply with the provision above, works will be suspended until such time this is supplied.

    The following indemnity must be included in the insurance policy submitted and continue to be submitted for each year you have a contract with Glenevin Construction Ltd:

    Policy contract indemnity to a principal clause which extends to specifically include Glenevin Construction Ltd.

  • 3rd Party Damage

    The Subcontractor shall indemnify and save harmless Glenevin Construction Ltd from any charges resulting from 3rd party damages.

    Provisional charges for 3rd party damage are set out in the attached table.

    Glenevin Construction Ltd will agree to waive the provisional charge upon receipt of a letter from the subcontractor's insurance indemnifying Glenevin Construction Ltd against any costs which arise. Once the final invoice from the damaged asset owner has been received, the provisional charge will be adjusted accordingly.

  • Fixed Penalty Notices:

    FPNs received by Glenevin Construction Ltd will be deducted via notification through a payment notice.

    Damages, including but not restricted to Plant, Equipment and vehicles:

    Costs incurred by Glenevin Construction Limited will be deducted via notification through a payment notice and shall incur an admin charge.

    Training and PPE:
    May be provided at your expense. Deductions will be notified via payment notice.
