Hopper Section

  • With help, remove cover over cigarette pushers and clean

  • Clean rails and linear bearings (cigarette pushers)

  • Clean all Perspex doors, photocells and detectors

  • Clean inner frame cutting unit, belts and rollers, etc (beware of knives)

  • Remove and clean inner frame delivery covers

  • Clean inner frame delivery track and check lugs secure on timex belt

  • Clean inner frame reject chutes and collection tray

  • Clean reciprocating pocket area. Remove reciprocating pocket cover for access

Foil section

  • Clean all photocells and detectors

  • Clean foil transport rollers belts, bobbin holders and tension rollers.

  • Clear foil splicing unit

  • Clean embossing head and rollers using a brass brush

  • Clean foil cutting unit, knife roller and suction discs

  • Remove and clean foil track covers and foil plough guides. Clean cigarette track

Checks

  • Check the cigarette channel

  • Check the bushing of cigarette pushers

  • Check the cigarette trim rake on the way of cigarette bundle

  • Check mobile pocket and folders

  • Check the mouth and greasers

  • Check the foil cutting knives

  • Check the heaters

  • Check the U knife and pressure roller at the tear tape unit

  • Check the film knife
