Ready For Hire Inspection Checklist

Visual Inspection (Photos Required)

  • Is there any signs of damages or scratches

  • Supply photos of external - All 4 sides

  • Supply a photo of the compliance plate

  • Supply photos of Engine Bay

  • Supply a photo of the Electrical Outlets

Inspection Checklist

  • Engine Oil Level

  • Fan Belts are taught and free from nicks and damage

  • Coolant fluid levels

  • Radiator is free from restrictions and leaks

  • Air Filter is Free from Dust and soot

  • Fuel Filter and System is free from leaks and obvious contaminants

  • All mechanical guards are in place

  • Battery and Terminals are free from acidic buildup and rust

  • Test Isolators are functioning correctly

  • Check Electrical Outlets are free from damage (No ingress points, UV Cover fitted, All pips installed etc)

  • Generator has 1/2" quick Coupling installed on fuel line and the correct way around - Female on Inlet, Male on outlet

  • Check Starting Systems

  • Check main breaker size and functional

  • Check Voltage Regulator

  • Check Earth leakage settings

  • Check Thermal Overload settings

  • Test Emergency Stop function

  • Electrical wiring has been checked and inspected

  • Engine RPM and idle levels is correct

  • Voltage and Hertz are correct to match generator specifications

  • There are no loose external bolts on control panel, machine or skid

  • Rubber 'bumpers' are installed

  • Earth Stake is fitted ( where required )

  • Check Earthing cabling / connections are secure to panels etc

  • Machine has a Service sticker placed in Control Panel

  • All warning labels and isolation stickers are intact and clearly visible

  • Machine has the appropriate Mynt and XRM stickers

  • Pressure washed and Clean - ready to go to any site

  • Machine has been Load Bank stress Tested

  • Do you need to remove the Neutral connection to the battery to avoid power drain?

Paperwork

  • Supply Photo(s) showing Log Book and Operators Manual within the Generator

  • Is the machine up to date with scheduled servicing

  • Log Book is filled out with this inspection information

  • Supply a photo of Fire Extinguisher Tag

  • Machine has been tested and tagged sticker placed in control panel

  • Supply a photo of Completed Test and Tag Sticker

Technician Confirmation

  • Any additional comments on the machine or items to Note

  • I confirm I have completed a Pre-Hire Inspection and the machine's safety and compliance checks are OK as seen today unless otherwise marked.
