  • Top of cage with 2 inch planking or 3/4 inch plywood

  • Operation rules poster posted "no riders allowed"

  • Hoisting entrances guarded by substantial gates or bars

  • Vertical gates of sufficient height to prevent anyone from looking over them into shaft
