Pantry Audit

  • Are the walls, floors, ceilings, doors, windows clean and in good working order? eg- no mould, cracks, damage

  • Are the lights, covings, shelving, electrical conduits, air vents, air curtains clean and in good working order? eg- no mould, cracks, damage

  • Is the general area cleaned & maintained? eg- evidence of housekeeping - floors and surfaces cleaned & dust free? eg. window seals, top/under fridge etc

  • Is the dishwasher in good working order?

  • Is the dishwasher clean? Eg. No calcium or rust lift grates inside dishwasher to check

  • Is the area around dishwasher clean? Eg. basket shelf, sink

  • Are all chemicals stored correctly?

  • Are trays, tubs, lids and other equipment suitable for the task and in good working order? Confirm there are no wooden items in use

  • Is all food in the pantries labelled appropriately for identification purposes? eg- use by dates, open dates, product name

  • Are the hand washing basins easily accessible, operating and have soap, paper towel & a bin at them?
