Is the Warehouse Operative wearing the correct uniform and PPE as issued?

Does the Warehouse Operative introduce themselves to the driver professionally and clarify what hand signals will be used?

Does the Warehouse Operative retrieve the paperwork / delivery notes from the driver?

Does the Warehouse Operative return to the high bay before the vehicle is in motion and stand behind safety barrier, in clear view of the drivers side mirror before any vehicle movement?

Does the Warehouse Operative demonstrate proper and appropriate use of hand signals / communication methods?

CONTAINERS/FOLDING DOOR TRAILERS ONLY:<br>Does the Warehouse Operative direct the driver to stop with enough space to open the door safely, direct the driver to apply brakes, direct the driver to switch the engine off, before removing the seal? Does the Warehouse Operative open the doors with the driver to ensure the load is secure before recommencement of safe docking?

When the vehicle is in the correct position on the bay, does the Warehouse Operative instruct the driver to apply the hand brake, switch off the engine and hand the keys to the BANKSMAN for safekeeping until unloading / loading is complete?

Does the Warehouse Operative check to ensure the vehicle is at the correct level for access?

Does the Warehouse Operative carry out a dynamic Risk Assessment and inform the Team Leader that it is safe to unload / load the vehicle or carry out appropriate action?
