Are the Trees Shrubs and Hedges:

a) Trimmed, pruned and/or cut to maintain healthy growth and so as to minimise:

I. the risk of crime and or vandalism;
II. the opportunity for storm wind damage;
III. risk of fire;
IV. the obstruction of roadways, pathways, car parks, street lighting etc.

b) Are secure and safe;
c) Free from dead or dying branches;

d) Minimise the build up of litter;
e) Free from disease and/or aphid infestation where technically and practically possible;

f) Replaced as and when necessary to maintain appearance and originally planted standard.

g) Trees covered by Tree Preservation Orders shall be maintained to the Local Authority requirements.

Grassed Areas

Are the Grassed Areas:

a) Shall be of uniform appearance with no patches where technically and practically possible;
b) Edges shall be trimmed;;
c) Free from build up of fallen leaves, weeds and litter and excrement;
d) Shall be maintained to a uniform length applicable to its location

Flower Beds, Courtyards and Other Public Internal Areas

a) Fully stocked with an appropriate mix of annual, perennial and display plants to provide beds and displays throughout the year;
b) Free from build up of fallen leaves, weeds and litter;
c) Free from disease and/or aphid infestation where technically and practically possible.

Pavings and paths

a) Sound safe and even surface with no potholes or sinkings
b) Free from build up of standing water, ice, snow
c) Free from build up of fallen leaves, moss algae or interstitial weeds
d) Kerbs and edgings are sound
e) No loose kerbs or paving stones
f) Road markings are clear and complete
g) Free from graffiti and or vandalism
h) Provides provision for good disabled access such as the visually impaired and wheelchair users

Driveways, Roads and Carparks
