  • Check of tyre pressures wheel nut indicators and tread integrity

  • Visual check of spare tyre, wheel jack and jacking equipment

  • Visual check of wheel nut security

  • Check operation of brakes (including handbrake)

  • Steering operating correctly?

Check Fluid levels

  • Water coolant

  • Engine Oil

  • Wiper water

  • Brake fluid

  • Power steering fluid

Windscreen, mirrors and wipers

  • Check wipers and washers for correct operation

  • Check windscreen and mirrors for security and grime

Lights and Reflectors

  • Check interior and exterior lights are operational

  • Check reflectors for integrity

Structure and bodywork

  • Check for any fluid leaks (fuel, oil, water, hydraulic brake)

  • Check vehicle bodywork for damage (note any damage or attach photo)

  • ARTC ID signage legible

Interior

  • Horn operational

  • Seat belts are in good condition and are in working order

  • Fuel cards are present (some vehicles may only have one card)

  • Floor mats present and undamaged

  • Fire extinguisher is secure and has been inspected within last 6 months (check tag)

  • First Aid Kit present and security tag in place

  • Checks for warning lights displayed on dashboard

  • All rubbish removed and vehicle clean?

  • Faults identified and repairs required:

Completed form to be emailed to ADA by end of shift. Any item affecting vehicle safety MUST BE reported immediately
