Harness Hardware checks

  • Check the condition of the "D" rings for Distortion

  • Check the condition of the "D" rings for Fatigue/rust

  • Check the condition of the plastic back plate, fasteners, web tidies, adjusters and connectors for Excessive wear

  • Check the condition of the plastic back plate, fasteners, web tidies, adjusters and connectors for Damage

  • Check the webbing for signs of UV damage (Colour fading is a good indication)

  • Check the webbing for signs of chemical contamination (Staining is a good indication)

  • Check the condition of the main hook for distortion
