TILES

  • Tiles delivered as per the tile selection sheet

  • The plumbing pipes are in correct position as per the plan

  • Floor wastes have been installed as per addenda (plastic/ chrome/ round / square)

  • Are floor tiles and wall tiles sizes equal? <br>(If not half bond required. A no charge variation signed by the owner is required for half bond tiling before the tiling is to commence)

  • The shade code (tonality No.) and calibre code (size) are the same on all cartons

  • The quantity received is correct and is enough to complete the job- delivery quantity matches order

  • Any adjustments must be within +/- 4mm

  • Kickboard tiles be fixed with a construction adhesive not a cement based tile glue.

SCREED

  • Floor wastes have not been slotted. If slotted pipe to be removed and straightened at elbow located in slab

  • Screed is dry enough to accept waterproofing to avoid efflorescence

  • Screed not soft or dummy prior to tiling and not sandy in colour. Correct mix ratio 1:4

  • Screed has correct falls to floor wastes

  • Hobs must be flat with no holes inside or out

  • Two days drying time before waterproofing membrane can be applied (Summer 1 Day)

  • Main floor or bathroom should be screeded to allow the applicator to apply the 100mm application from hob onto main floor area as per BCA requirements

WATERPROOFING

  • Waterproofing silicone bond breakers installed as per detail

  • Waterproofing has bandage 100mm out from corners as per detail

  • Waterproofing 150mm past up and over hobs

  • Waterproofing 1200mm high and to floor of all showers

COMPLETION

  • Rubber based flexible adhesive to be used

  • Tile adhesive dry before grouting to avoid efflorescence

  • Floor and shower wastes not clear and not blocked with grout, glue, screed, cement , etc.
