  • Record brake test number

  • Inspect brake linings/wear and travel - are they safe and functional?

  • Check brake systems for leaks- no leaks?

  • Inspect service brake and check function

  • Check park brake for any defects and function

  • Check air/vacuum system ( including trailer breakaway protection)

COUPLINGS -

  • Clearance/end outline marker lights - front/rear

  • Reflectors front/side/rear

  • Brake lights

  • Tail lights

  • Reversing lights and sqawker

  • Check electrolyte level of batteries

  • Rear view mirrors in position and functional- left/right

ENGINE DRIVELINE AND EXHAUST

  • Exhaust system

  • Visual check engine /driveline for leaks/defects/issues

  • Check noise emissions

  • Check engine and driveline for defects/leaks

  • Change engine oil and filters

  • Check fuel tanks- damage/ leaks/ mounting brackets

  • Change gearbox oil and filters

  • Change differential oil and filters

  • Check fluid level of coolant

CLEANING/HOUSEKEEPING

  • Ensure any fluid spills on vehicle are cleaned up
