WORK IN PROGRESS- REPAIR & REINSTATEMENT

All categories of work must show; site set up, measurements of excavation, works completed, and reinstatement layers.
• In the section below provide clear, good quality photos of the repair complete in the hole. The photos should clearly show the correct use of split duct and collars with appropriate cable ties etc.
Guidance of what we need to see in this section is outlined below, however, please refer to Openreach Engineering Principle Documents (available via the Open reach Portal)
• Blockages – Pictures of surrounding areas (any new reinstated patches), possible duct camera picture and/or video of rodding blockage in action.
• Dig & fix – excavated where engineers marked – if joint is located – left open long enough for Openreach to fix fault?
• If no joint located – provide pictures of location and possible video of CAT & Genny showing no phone line services in excavated patch.
• Tee off ducts – pictures must show duct repair kit clearly, showing tight seal.
• Box installations – if unable to complete due to invasive services, photograph and measure depth of all services in vicinity.
• If able to complete, ducts 10mm/ flush, sealed and drilled into correct slots on modular’s, concrete base (or reason why not), all bearers, steps included and photographed.
• Duct laying – show measurements of depths are various stages of length, to fit 250mm cover in footway.
• Cabinets – re-shells & stand offs – have entire set of specifications to follow. Did we send out to Contractors?
• Included in a Summary section in which any further information that you think we need to know can be included.
Note: If you cannot complete the job, pictures must show obstructions, measurements, or clearly show why can’t be completed
