Sufficient fuel for the journey?

Is there sufficient fresh water in tank?

Check sufficient gas for journey

Check no ropes or other items hanging over transom area (foul propellers)

Check all lower level portholes are secure

Boil mains kettle for tea/coffee

Disconnect mains shore cable

All cupboards secure and spare luggage stowed away

Start Engines, check oil pressure gauge and switch on Raymarine kit

Radio check, Solent Coastguard channel 67

Switch on iPad to log journey

Check cooling water is flowing astern and cast off

Lift fenders when outside marina
