Test and Inspection of EN795 Class D Rigid Rail anchorage and associated components

  • All EN795 compliant track system fixings are secured correctly to the structure

  • There is no evidence of corrosion on any EN795 Class C compliant anchors

  • All fixing elements securing the track system to the structure are secure and in satisfactory condition

Travel Attachment Device Inspection

  • Number of travelling attachment trolley devices present on site

  • All travel attachment trolleys travel freely and smoothly along the entire route of the rigid rail system, without obstruction

  • When attached to the rail all travel device attachment trolleys are securely fixed

  • Travel device attachment trolleys are free of rust or obvious signs of corrosion

  • Lanyard karabiners can be easily attached and removed from the travel device attachment trolley

Single Anchor Point Inspection

  • Number of Single anchor points present on site

  • All single anchor points are securely fixed to structure

  • All single anchor point fixings are in place a secured to structure

  • All single anchor points are free of rust or obvious signs of corrosion

  • Lanyard karabiners can be easily attached and removed from the single anchor points

  • Single anchor points are positioned correctly in accordance with BS7883

  • Protect Safety have inspected the above listed equipment. At the time of inspection all equipment has been deemed fit and safe to use by trained personnel only.
    The systems should not be used by untrained personnel. The systems should not be used if there are any obvious signs of damage. The systems should not be used if certification date has expired. Please refer to the manufacturers handbook before using the system.
