Combustible walls/ceiling: fire resistant shield shall be used

Non Combustible Walls: Combustible material located on opposite side must be relocated away from Hot Workarea.

Nearby ducts and conveyor systems have been shut down or protected to prevent conveying of sparks or flames to other area

Are cylinders legibly marked with required labeling?

Are all connections, torches and cylinder free of oil/grease?

Are the hoses free of wear/defects that prevent it from being used safely?

Are the proper gas and pressure regulators being used?

Are flashback arrestors provided on the regulator end?

Are the cylinders secure and located away or protected from falling sparks and electrical circuits?

If pipe to be cut or welded is in contact with a combustible structure (wall, ceiling or roof) is a fire watch posted on the opposite side of the structure?

Is the Hot Work Permit posted on the jobsite?
