  • This induction is designed for operational Remote Pilots and contains a self-paced section where you watch training videos that will help build your basic knowledge of the M350RTK RPAS and the Pilot 2 App.
The practical component will be conducted once the pilot has completed the self-paced section. The practical component will include flight time resulting in your endorsement on the M350RTK. 2 hours of flight time will need to be gathered to be able to use the M350RTK operationally.

  • Operations in rain / IP rating (Manufacturer Specification): - IP55 rating - Do NOT fly if the amount of rainfall exceeds 100 mm in 24 hrs - Do NOT fold the arms in the rain. Ensure aircraft is free of any liquid by wiping it carefully before storing in the carrying case. - Ensure battery ports, battery compartment ports, battery surface are dry before inserting batteries (Change batteries undercover)
    - Ensure aircraft is fully set up before exposing it to rain - Ensure aircraft shell has no cracks and other damages - Point sensor (e.g. visual/thermal camera payload) down when not needed to avoid drops on the sensor
    - Ensure aircraft and equipment exposed to rain is properly dried before storing

  • Smart Controller

  • Intelligent Flight Battery - TB65
Batteries always operate in the same pairs
Each LiPo battery has a capacity of 5880mAh, a voltage of 44.76V, and energy rating of 263.2Wh.
    Weight -1.35kg each
    Smart charge/ discharge functionality
    Water-resistant
    Do not drop the battery
    Battery level check
IP55 when installed in the aircraft

Batteries can be swapped out without turning the RPA off. Remove one battery replace, wait 3 seconds and then replace the second battery.

Manual heating: hold the switch for 4 seconds. This keeps the batteries between 16°C and 20°C for about 30 minutes. Press and hold the battery button for 2 seconds to stop heating.
Auto heating: If low temperature is detected, the battery will automatically heat up to maintain a temp. between 16°C and 20°C

Both batteries are turned on at the same time by the power switch on the Matrice
    Removal and connection to Matrice.
Don't charge straight after flight when hot
Be careful to keep the power connector clean from dirt and fluff

The ideal battery charging temperature is between 15°C and 40°C
Ideally, the battery should be used in temperatures ranging from -20° C to 50° C
Discharge in Pilot 2 app set to start after 5-7 days (resets countdown whenever battery level button is pressed)
Discharging automatically stops at around 60% and takes approximately 6 days When a battery has started to discourage it should not be flown until charged.
The batteries should be stored between 40-60%
Approximately 55 minutes of flight time without a payload
