Facilities

  • Are the toilet facilities in clean and hygienic condition? (Check that toilets, handwash basins, floor areas are sufficiently clean, there is soap and hand-drying options available) - this is a this is a requirement of the Health and Safety at Work (HSW) Regulations.

  • Are the toilet locks on the inside of the doors still functioning correctly and the doors are able to be locked from inside? (Requirement under the HSW Regulations)

  • Are the toilet facilities in clean and hygienic condition? (Check that toilets, handwash basins, floor areas are sufficiently clean, there is soap and hand-drying options available) - this is a this is a requirement of the Health and Safety at Work (HSW) Regulations.

  • Are the kitchen fridges in clean and hygienic condition? (Check all fridges for cleanliness, out-of-date food items (remove any found); This is a this is a requirement of the Health and Safety at Work (HSW) Regulations.

  • Are the dishwashers internally clean & hygienic? (Requires the wire-trays, rotating sprays, internal filters and the inside base panel being removed and check for build-up of food scraps, mould etc).

  • Has the kitchen drinking water filter been replaced within the recommended period? (check the date on the side of the water filter cartridge)

  • Are the kitchen facilities in clean and hygienic condition? (Check kitchen areas are sufficiently clean, there is soap and hand-drying options available - this is a this is a requirement of the Health and Safety at Work (HSW) Regulations.

  • Are all facilities, including drinking water, toilets, hand-washing basins, and fridges, in good working condition?

  • Has anything else been found during this inspection that requires remedial action?
