  • Locate the Echo Dot Device (Likely in the kitchen) Is it plugged in and working? Ask it one test question. (EX: Alexa, where can I go for dinner tonight?)

  • Have you checked all the plates, bowls, cups, pots/pans and silverware to ensure cleanliness?

  • Do the floors look swept/mopped?

  • Are all of the kitchen appliances functioning?

  • Are there paper towels and a dish towel? Please notify office or restock if not.

  • Is the dishwasher soap stocked?

  • Is there a sponge?

  • Are there trash bags?

  • Are all of the lights working?

  • Are there any items missing or out of place? (EX: paintings, decorations, electronics)

  • What items are missing? Are they located somewhere else in the home?

  • Is the thermostat set to 68? In the Summer please make sure the A/C is working and set to 72.

  • Are the baseboards heating? Does the house feel warm?

  • Is the fireplace turning on?

  • Are the welcome book and welcome basket arranged properly?

  • Are all electronics working correctly? (TV, clocks)

  • Are the remotes working/do they need new batteries? If yes, replace batteries.

  • Is the wifi working?

  • Did you attempt to reset the modem? (Only Unplug and Plug the Power Cord, Do Not Touch Any Other Cables)

  • Is it working now? If the answer is no, please contact the office to schedule repair.

  • Are the MAIN LEVEL bathrooms clean?

  • Are the counters, mirrors, and surfaces wiped?

  • Are the toilets flushing? Check all toilets.

  • Is there a sufficient amount of TP available?

  • Are the sufficient Boxes of Tissues? (One per Each Bathroom)

  • Soap, shampoo, and lotion stocked? (DOUBLE check that there is at least 1 set per bathroom)

  • Have you restocked items accordingly?

  • Is the hot water working? (Test all sinks)

  • Is there a parking pass available to the guests?

  • Does the keyless entry work?

  • Is the garage door opener in place?

  • If there are other keys that need to be in place for this property, are they in plain sight for the guests?

  • Is the propane tank full? Please replace the tank if it is empty.

  • Is there a sofa sleeper?

  • Is the sofa sleeper dressed with clean linens?

  • Are there blankets and pillows available for the sofa sleeper?

  • Are all of the beds made with new linens?

  • Do the BEDROOM LEVELS floors look clean? Vacuumed/swept/mopped.

  • Are the BEDROOM LEVELS bathrooms clean?

  • Are the surfaces clean?

  • Are there basic starter supplies for the guest?

  • Are there clean towels? (Please check that towels look/smell fresh.)

  • Are the shower and bathtub properly cleaned?

  • Is there a sufficient amount of TP?

  • Overall, has the property been thoroughly cleaned?

  • Has the property been fogged with disinfectant?

  • If there is a garage, have you swept and used the leaf blower?

  • If there is a wood burning fireplace, bring some wood into the house and set it up for the guests to have a fire when they arrive.

  • Please make sure that you have thoroughly checked and addressed all items above before leaving the property. We want our guests to be happy from the second they arrive to the second they depart. Are there any additional notes you would like to add?
