1. PRIOR TO ARRIVAL

  • Parking stand checked for FOD & any other obstacles prior arrival.

  • All employees wear proper hearing protection, safety footwear and high visibility /reflective clothing.

  • All GSE outside the safety lines?

2. UPON ARRIVAL

  • Wands are used for marshaling (illuminated in low visibility)

  • Staff wait until the aircraft has stopped, is chocked, anti-collision lights off, engines shut down and «all clear» given by TRC before approaching.

  • Head set used for ground-cockpit communication.

  • Chocking, Safety Marker Cones, Vehicles & Equipment positioned correctly at the Aircraft.

  • Aircraft exterior checked for visible damage on arrival.

  • Local speed limits are observed by all drivers.

  • A guide-person used when positioning equipment in confined areas.

  • When mobile passenger steps are used, it properly positioned to the aircraft. Stabilizers deployed.

  • “NO TOUCH POLICY” is performed when equipment connect to the aircraft.

  • Chocks are used on vehicles, where applicable.

  • Employees avoid walking under the fuselage.

3. OFFLOAD

  • On completion of the offload all compartments including those that are not used have been checked for unauthorized or missing items.

  • Aircraft offloaded according "ground stability" procedure.

  • Belt loader used for offloading of cargo/mail from aircraft to cargo dolly (type Kung)

  • Employees avoid walking under the fuselage.

4. ONLOAD

  • Prior to start loading, compartments including those that are not used, have been check for unauthorized or missing items.

  • Aircraft hold interiors, components and loading system checked for damage and serviceability.

  • Cargo/Mail/Equipment loaded not higher than allowed limits.

  • Cargo/Mail/Equipment loaded correctly according Loading Instruction, secured and checked.

  • Baggage loaded correctly according Loading Instruction, secured and checked.

  • All load restraint nets and the door protection nets are properly fitted.

  • All ULDs checked for damages, contours and correctness/existing of ULD tags.

  • Belt loader used for loading of cargo/mail from cargo dolly (type Kung) to aircraft.

  • Does the Belt Loader, that is loaded with cargo/mail/baggage, used to get in or out from cargo hold?

  • Employees avoid walking under the fuselage.

5. BEFORE DEPARTURE

  • Cargo doors and surrounding area checked for visible starches or damage.

  • Loading Report checked with actual loading.

  • Loading Instruction Report & Loadsheet signed and all changes/deviations shown.

  • Walk around check performed (Aircraft exterior checked for visible damage, area around aircraft checked for FOD & any other obstacles prior departure).

  • Is GSE outside the safety lines and aircraft taxi path is clear before "all clear" signal is given?

6. DEPARTURE

  • Wing walkers are on positions and using proper hand signals(illuminate wands used for signals in low visibility)

  • Wing walkers are aware of engine hazard zones.

  • The bypass pin was installed before tow bar was connected to aircraft.

  • The tow bar was connected/disconnected correctly.

  • Head set used for ground-cockpit communication.

  • All clear signal (thumbs up) given to the commander after all operations completed.

  • Sequence of pre-startup engines procedures are followed.
