Ladder Registration

  • Do ladders have existing asset tag?<br>If NO, report to your local stores to get replacement tag or get ladders onto Ladder register before continuing

Checks

  • Check where applicable, locking hinges operate correctly, hinge levers operate correctly ( open and close correctly), spreaders are secured to rails on step ladders. 3 Tier ladders rung locks are secure and operate correctly. Look for any broken welds, rivets or bolts missing. Safety straps are secure and in good condition (webbing frayed).

  • General Safety Checks

  • Check all rubber feet are present, free from dirty and debris, secure, not unduly worn.

  • Anti slip feet.<br>

  • Check all rungs are free from damage (bends,cracks,warps ect), clean, no paint covering possible issues, fixed security to rails, no missing or loose rivets/ bolts. Warning stickers must be visible and legible.
