Electrical Checks

  • Are the step harness, diesel heater harness and water tank harnesses covered in nude conduit?

  • Is main electrical harness sealed at each end with TESA tape?

  • Are there electrical harness 'bundles' seen? (messy tape/stashed wire)

  • Is the electrical harness routed as per Master sample underbody photo?

  • Does the diesel heater full pump electrical connector have excessive tension?

  • Is the nude wiring conduit TESA taped together at junction as it passes through floor pan?

  • Is the electrical architecture secured to the floor with P-Clips?

  • Ensure no cable ties are use to secure electrical architecture to the chassis of the vehicle.

  • Have the the holes/screws used to secure the electrical architecture to the floorpan been rust proofed and waxed?

  • Auditor subjective check : Agitate the electrical architecture and look for loose / droopy wires that are not secure.

Water Checks

  • Is foam used between tank bracket straps and tank (Fresh Water)?

  • Is foam used between tank bracket straps and tank (Grey Water)?

  • Is the grey water tank drain correct to master sample?

  • Is the handle for the grey water drain valve orientated vertical in line with master sample?

  • Is the fresh water tank drain correct to master sample?

  • Are the water lines routed correctly, in line with the master sample?

  • Check the fresh water tank is not loose by shaking it from under the vehicle

  • Check the grey water tank is not loose by shaking it from under the vehicle

  • Ensure the breather hose car forward is secure to the chassis with a P-clip and 90deg downturn nozzle

  • Ensure the breather hose car rearward is secure to the chassis with dual P-clip and downturn direction

  • Ensure the fresh water tank bracket is not fouling on the brake lines at the car forwards location

  • Ensure the fresh water tank bracket not fouling on brake lines at the car rearwards location

  • Are there any leaks from the fresh water tank fittings when the tank is water tested?

  • Are there any leaks from the grey water tank fittings when the tank is water tested?

  • Is the blue water line and breather pipe cable tied to the large diameter hose bundle in 3x locations running north/south?

  • Is the fresh water tank level sensor wire is cable tied to large diameter black pipe to ensure clearance to the prop shaft?

  • Are the hot & cold water lines dual P-clipped along their route correct to the master sample?

  • Is wax and silicon applied to water tank bracket mounting screws?

  • Are the in line water filters mounted same as master sample?

  • Are the in line water filters secure without excessive play or rattles?

  • Are all water lines secured with P-Clips?

  • Are the holes/screws used to secure the P-Clips rust proofed and waxed?

  • Pressurized water test : Are there any leaks from push-fit hose connections?

  • Pressurized water test : Are there any leaks from the breather hoses when tanks are full and system is under pressure?

  • Pressurized water test : Are there any leaks from the external fill points of the water tanks when the tanks are full and the system is under pressure?

Gas Checks

  • Is the gas BBQ outlet point is mounted close behind rear mud flap?

  • Is the gas line routing is correct to master sample?

  • Ensure the gas line is routed neatly behind the rear chassis rails for added protection

  • Is the gas line is sheathed / covered in conduit?

  • Is the gas line is secured with P-clips?

  • Does the gas line have excessive flexibility/rattle between fixing locations?

  • Have the holes/screws securing the P-clips been rust proofed and waxed?

  • Is the gas compartment drain pipe cut neatly and sealed air tight to the floorpan?

Diesel Heater Checks

  • Is the diesel heater access hole is covered and sealed using the large black plastic plug & flange?

  • Is the diesel heater exhaust muffler mounted on the single, central bolt location using the metal bracket provided?

  • Is the diesel heater exhaust tip mounted close to the rear mud flap for good terrain protection?

  • Ensure the diesel heater exhaust is not kinked.

  • Ensure the diesel heater exhaust is not 'loose' in final metal P-clip

  • Is the diesel heater intake tube secured to the floorplan in line with the method used for the master sample?

Chassis Interaction Checks

  • Check All : Open holes in floorpan must have rust protection applied

  • Check All : Open holes in floorpan must have wax applied

  • Is the factory earthing point utilized and an appropriate mechanical fastener used to attached the wire to the bolt? (No wire wrapped around bolt)

  • Does the factory earthing point have appropriate weatherproofing?

  • No white saddle hardware should be used on the vehicle

  • Ensure spare wheel clearance zone is respected (1x hand width all around)

  • Ensure no component fouling on prop shaft, 1x hand clearance needed

Seals

  • Is there a grommet & sealant used for the electrical & side step harness when passing through the floorpan?

  • Does the diesel heater black plastic plug have a bead of silicon sealing it to the floorpan?

  • Are the hot water drain pipes silicon sealed to floor pan?

  • Ensure there are no silicon 'blobs' or 'dripping' silicon on the floorpan. Only area that large silicon deposit is accepted is the diesel heater water overflow pipe.

  • Ensure hole in floorpan for shower drain hole is rust proofed and waxed prior to fitment of plastic cup

  • Is the shower drain hole/hose sealed with inverted plastic cup and silicon bead around the edge?

  • Is the water pick up line & breather pipe sealed to the floorpan with grommet and silicon bead?

  • Are the hot & cold water lines sealed to floor pan with grommet and silicon?

  • Is the main water filler pipe sealed to floor with grommet and silicon?

  • Is seam sealer & rust proofing used for oval shaped hole cut in chassis for 5x water lines & junctions?

Step Assembly Checks

  • Is there rust on side step assembly?

  • Has the washer pulled through the slot on the side step assembly?

  • Ensure there are no loose connectors on step assembly

  • Has rust protection been applied on side step assembly bolts?

  • Has wax protection on side step assembly bolts?

  • Have dual P-Clips been used to stow nude conduit and side step harness?

  • Will the bolt position at the rear edge of the step lead to a dyanmic clash condition as seen on pre-production car?

  • Ensure black side step harness is not rubbing on side step bracket

Exterior Checks

  • Awning support bracket front is mounted in line with email instructions from Ben Triebels

  • Is the sliding mechanism on the front awning support bracket functional?

  • Is the sliding mechanism on the rear awning support bracket functional?

  • Awning support bracket rear is mounted in line with email instructions from Ben Triebels

  • Is there any rust proof paint visible on exterior painted surface around features?

  • Is there any rust proofing primer visible on the customer visible side of the vehicle frame rails?

  • Is there excessive silicon seal seen on painted exterior surface around features?

  • Is the toilet compartment sealed correctly to the body structure?

  • Are the wires in external toilet compartment TESA wrapped and stowed securely?

  • Check straightness of exterior toilet door.

  • Check for excessive panel deformation around exterior features (screw pull)

  • Check flushness of plastic panel mouting front awning bracket

  • Are Kampervan decals present on exterior?

  • Is the door seal on the passenger side sliding door damaged?

  • Are the door seals around the rear doors damaged?

Interior Checks

  • Are the rear fly screen holes are cut & sealed correctly around door hinges?

  • Are the rear fly screen holes are cut & sealed correctly around door latches top?

  • Check if there is an excessive gap seen between seat/bed and floor lino

  • Ensure skirting board around twin seat is clear of seatbelt mounting point and has no visible damage

  • Check orientation of front sky hatch blind

  • Interior cupboard alignment and flushness - check acceptable

  • Are all of the interior windows clean and clear from any paint or adhesive overspray?

  • Do all of the interior demold strips have the correct final paint finish? (No thin paint, primer, poor finish etc.)

General Check

  • Vehicle drench test/water test planned / passed

  • Take images of the exterior of the vehicle : Front / Side / Side / Rear / Front Angle / Rear Angle

  • Loose Items : Are all bags & loose items are present and correct to the agreed loose items list?
