ROCK BOLT INSTALLATION

Rock Bolt Drilling Operation

  • Are the persons well conversant with rock bolt drilling and safety requirements?

  • Is PPE available in good conditions?

  • Is inspection done at the workplace and documenting it on "Face Diary"?

  • Are ground support consumables available ?

  • Are the ground support consumables present in supported ground?

  • Is Jumbo Operator's Cabin under supported ground(at least 1.5 m back from the last ring of rock bolts)?

  • Is jumbo positioned an equal distance from the sidewalls?

  • No loose is found on face, roof and side?

  • Is the loose scaling done upto 30m outbye from face ?

  • Is proper scaling done before rock bolt drilling operation?

  • Is 33mm drill bit available in jumbo?

  • Is marking done on sidewall at specified spacing as per SSR before drilling?

  • Are holes drilled as per the length of Rock Bolt specified in SSR?

Rock Bolt Grouting Operation

  • Are the resin capsules within the expiry date?

  • Is resin insertion tube available in jumbo?

  • Is resin inserted in upright direction?

  • Is rock bolt grouter available in jumbo?

  • Are rockbolts inserted onto boom from safe ground?

  • Is proper churning of resin ensured?

  • Is specified holding time of rock bolts ensured?

  • Is shear pin of nut broken?

  • Are bearing plates held tight against wall?

  • Is relieving rock bolt done if required?

  • Are rock bolts installed upto minimum of 0.6m from face?

Evaluation:
