Checklist for Pre-FAT

Surrounding areas before start of inspection

  • Is the machine setup in a clean environment?

  • Is the surrounding area arround the machine safe for people to work?

Tooling, expertise and safety

  • Are the fitters both mechanical and electrical present

  • Do we have the protection sheets avaiable on assembling to prevent damaging the machine during installation

  • Are the proper tools used for the assembling of the machine

  • Are the proper safety clothes/shoes/gloves used for assembling

Aesthetic Checkpoints

  • All inward material used in assembling the machine is thoroughly checked and approved by QC team. (Check evidence)

  • Are there any scratch/dents marks or any discrepancy visible?

  • Coated parts in the machine are consistent. Does it appear different in the machine?

  • Are corners/edges of each sheet proper and smooth?

  • Check the if the weldings in the machine are properly fabricated?

  • There should not be any gap near welding. Welding surface should be smooth and fine to touch

  • There are no holes visible on the machine

  • Verify equipment is fabricated as per drawings and manufacturing quality meets expectations

Electric Equipment & Wiring

  • All electric wiring clearly labelled and electric drawings are up to date.

  • All electrical drawings are available at the machine

Documentation Checkpoints

  • All important documents (DQ, IQ, OQ, User Manual) are prepare and updated as required specification

General Checkpoints

  • Verify material nameplate, manufacturer and serial number are consistent / Jekson Vision nameplate is clear and visible

  • Is machine built as per technical drawing

  • UAT is completed and all Test cases are successfully completed

  • Performance testing is Pass

  • Deviation – Each test should yield an acceptable result with no issue. If Test FAIL, Corrective action taken should be mentioned.
