Has a method statement and risk assessment been prepared

Has a sample room/area been produced and approved

Has surplus plaster been removed from timber surfaces

Check that plaster is dry

Ensure good lighting is provided and maintained

Check painter protects other works as necessary

Check alignment of skirting with walls, action any filling

Ensure all knots in timber are sealed

Ensure mist coat is applied to walls to highlight any imperfections

Ensure specified filler and paint is being used

Check cutting in to ceiling and wall abutments

Check cutting in to back moulds where they abut plaster

Check around all switch plates and sockets

Check inside kitchen units for painted surfaces

Check glazing and fittings for paint splashes, runs and over painting

Check back and undersides of pipework and behind radiators

Have the tops of doors and back moulds been painted

Is paint being allowed to dry between coats

Check finish and cover of all painted surfaces

Has the area been left clean and secure
