Stage 1 - Structural integrity

  • Have pull test been undertaken in this area - 10% of all new / renewed fixings

  • Has torque testing been undertaken - all new and renewed fixings

Stage 2 - Remediation of shims, brackets and bolts

  • Have all plastic shims been removed and replaced with metal, new brackets introduced where shims exceed 25mm, all box section packers removed and replaced with Aluminium shims

  • Have new intermediate rails been installed in correct position with the correct fixing type as per the construction issue drawings and structural details

  • Have the remedials to the concrete substrate been made good

  • Have all steel bolts been replaced for stainless steel and torque tested to 15kN

Stage 3 - Cladding Panel, Coping, Brise Soleil

  • Has making good to existing cladding panel finished been undertaken using the correct material and warranted for 30 years minimum

  • Has the cladding panels been installed at the correct position and free from defects or scratches

  • Has the coping panels been secured as per the correct detail

  • Has the Brise Soleil been been recoated by approved product with a 15 year guarantee, reinstalled and defect free

  • Has the Brise Soleil bolts been replaced for stainless steel as per the specification and techinal note

  • Photo evidence

Stage 4 - Handover

  • Has this area been snagged by both LS and Clevetts and all items raised closed down

  • Sectional completion issued

  • Sectional completion certificate
