Manufacturers name, suppliers name and trademark, and the installation date.

Safe working limits for:<br>- Total load per bay<br>- Load per beam level

Racking correctly aligned?

Racking straight?

Vertical uprights and horizontal beams eg per spirit level?

Connectors straight, no " V"?

Beam Connector Safety clips

Safety clips on every connector?

Safety clips secured?

Beams correctly connected to upright.

Beam connector "teeth" properly connected to upright?

Beam & connector aligned?

Uprights (columns) -critical.

Max. Bend of uprights<br> - < 3mm / 1m (depth)<br>- < 5mm / 1m (sideways)

Any cracks or corrosion?

Any twisting of upright?

Splices in uprights (columns).

Are the splices above the 1st beam level?

Splices properly secured eg min of 4 bolts?

Upright sections correctly aligned?

Rack bracing.

No bracing missing, per design drawings?

Bracing not damaged eg not buckled?

Bracing secured (bolted)?

Base plates.

Base plate on each upright correct eg welded & in good condition?

Each base plate bolted bolted to the floor (min. 1 bolt) ?

Bolts not loose or damaged?

Column impact protectors.

Are there protectors on each upright exposed to forklifts eg front ?

Are protectors at the ends on exposed racking?

Are the protectors at least 300mm in height, from the floor?

Are protectors secured in place and in good condition?

Loads and pallets positioned correctly.

Are loads stable and not likely to fall?

Are pallets "locked" into beams?

Are the pallets in good condition?

No welding on high strength thin walled steel racking.<br>

Any other risks eg corrosion or other hazards?

Is Tag Out equipment available on site eg cone, signage, tape?
