  • Remove exit water hose from heat exchanger and ensure there is no restriction of flow or oil in the water.

  • Check read outs on electrical compartment of power pack to ensure they seem to be functioning properly.

  • Check operation of PT selector. Every selection should change reading on operating pressure gauge.

  • Inspect all hydraulic hoses for damage or wear.

  • Inspect all guards, covers and latches. (wireline, bean pump, power pack, rig).

  • Clean rig with solvent sprayer.

  • Is charge pressure between 1 and 2 bar?

  • Is pilot pressure between 35 and 40 bar?

  • Are all gauges on control stand working?

  • Is wireline motor operating properly?

  • Is float valve working properly?

  • Is wireline worm drive undamaged and clean?

  • Is pawl tightened and working properly?

  • Are sprockets and chains in good working condition?

  • Are rollers free spinning and free of damage?

  • Drain and replace oil in crankcase on bean pump. fill to petcock valve (30w)

  • Check bean pump for oil leaks

  • Inspect crowns, balls and gaskets.

  • Inspect cylinders for leaks

  • Drain and replace head oil. Fill to sight glass when rig is flat

  • Check and clean chuck and foot clamp jaws.

  • Check and tighten all bolts. (footclamp, Carriage, wireline, bean pump, Head, etc.).

  • Adjust Wear Pads

  • Inspect Feed Frame for cracks or rust.

  • Inspect feed frame slides for excessive wear or damage.

  • Grease whole rig (ALL COMPONENTS) thoroughly

  • Dead head feed cylinder and inspect for leaks.

  • Inspect sheaves and ensure they roll freely and keeping wireline off of extension.

  • Inspect dip cylinder for leaks and easy moving pins.

  • Check all electrical cables for corrosion or damage.

  • Test laser guards, e-stops, and helper bypass.

  • change all hydraulic filters.

  • Change Breather on hydraulic tank and all required Hydraulic filters (1st of the month)

  • Is it Friday

  • Are Chuck jaws and foot clamp jaws in good order?

  • Grease rollers and sheaves.

  • Adjust wear pads

  • Tension, lube, and inspect chain and chain sheaves.

  • Check bean pump oil level.

  • Electric grease cables.

  • Check pop-off valve

  • Clean rig thoroughly
