B - Unloading

  • Is the leading hand/loadmaster present?

  • Are cargo doors operated correctly and are clearance checks performed whilst the doors are in transit, are door operating control access panels closed once the door is opened?

  • Are loaders positioned in accordance with "circle of safety" protocols?

  • Is the unloading of containers/pallets performed in a safe manner, including the use of the CLS system?

C- Loading

  • Have bingo/ULD cards been cross-checked (correct flight number, destination, volume) by the leading hand?

  • Were ULD's selected for servicability at the aircraft?

  • Has the cargo documentation been verified against presented cargo (inc NOTOC, special loads etc.)?

  • Is the leading hand/loadmaster present during all loading operations, has load information been distributed to the loading team in the way of loader copy?

  • Does the leading hand & loader operator carry out a 3-way check prior to loading each ULD/Pallet (is this recorded on loader copy of ULA)?

  • Where "NIL FIT" positions exist are they inspected by the leading hand/loadmaster, were lock checks conducted by both staff (including physical check)?

F - Departure

  • Was AAA reconciliation completed, did the leading hand/lad master have a clear understanding of the process and the mandatory documentation utilised (including all declarations, was the loader copy ULA annoted and completed prior to closure of cargo doors)?

  • Was Flight Documentation complete/accurate and delivered to the flight deck in accordance with the PTS and JMI been uploaded with departure load information ?
