Standard 1: Toilets

  • Remove all rubbish

  • Remove marks and stains on walls as necessary

  • Tiles kept free of mould and limescale

  • Shower and locker room floor cleaned and disinfected

  • All showers flushed for 5 minutes

  • Locker fronts and tops wiped clean inc removing rubbish

  • Wipe clean benches, tops and underneath

  • Remove marks and stains on walls as necessary

  • Wipe clean skirting boards and door frames

  • Walls and doors wiped clean and disinfected

  • Mirrors and internal glass polished when applicable

  • Wipe clean fixtures, fittings, sockets, light switches, radiators

Standard 3: Switchrooms

  • Remove all rubbish

  • Maintain all floor areas using sweeping sand

  • Dry wipe internal walls. All fixtures and fittings (excluding switchgear and control equipment) to be maintained in a clean dust free condition

Standard 4: Mess rooms, Dining and Kitchens

  • Empty bins, Remove rubbish, wipe outside

  • Dishwasher filters to be cleaned weekly and salt dispensers to be filled as necessary

  • Wipe clean sink units, work surfaces, tables, water dispensers, all similar furniture and equipment, including the external surfaces of the cooking / reheating devices and refrigerators

  • Refrigerators to be cleaned inside and excessive ice to be removed (monthly)

  • All dirty crockery to be removed to the dishwasher then returned to cupboards at the end of the wash / dry cycle

  • Dust ledges, radiators, chairs, cupboards, notices etc

  • Chairs to be thoroughly cleaned (weekly)

  • Remove marks and stains on walls as necessary

  • Wipe clean skirting boards and door frames

  • Clean internal glass if applicable

Standard 5: Workshops

  • Wipe clean skirting boards and door frames (weekly)

  • Wipe outside of waste bins

  • Machine clean floor where applicable

Standard 6: Offices (monthly)

  • Clean internal glass

  • Clean all picture, whiteboard and notice board frames

Standard 7: Offices, Reception areas, Conference rooms, Corridors, Stairs, Landings and Lifts (weekly)

  • Clean fixtures, fittings, switches, electrical sockets, radiators (Monday)

  • Clean skirting boards, architraves, window ledges, door plates and bannister rails (Monday)

  • Clean / dust windows blinds (Tuesday)

  • Clean furniture including chairs, table legs, cupboards and store walls (Wednesday)

  • Clean desks (desks must be cleared of paperwork) (Thursday)

  • Clean PC equipment and TV's (Thursday)

  • Machine polish floor (Friday)

Standard 8: Offices, Reception areas, Conference rooms, Corridors and Landings (daily)

  • Empty bins and remove rubbish

  • Clean non carpeted areas using suitable methods

  • Vacuum carpeted areas

  • Check and refill overshoes boxes

  • All dirty crockery to be removed to the dishwasher then returned to cupboards at the end of the wash / dry cycle

Extra Services

  • Check all dispensers are working

  • Correct toilet brushes in situ
