  • Check & Confirm with Airmaster Water Treatment (WT) maintenance staff (Nicole or Lynne on watertreatment@airmaster.com.au or 03 9837 8333) to see if they have been able to obtain a copy of the regular reports from the incumbent provider for this site. FYI - There are 2 treatment systems typically installed at each site. Firstly a LU-VE wetting agent applied by a simple dosing pump, which feeds into the spray header tank. Secondly a water softening plant, which includes cylinders of polymer resin granules and a brine backwashing system

  • Airmaster to Attend site and review the condition of the installed plant and equipment, log all available parameters

  • Log the available information at the WT controller

  • pH

  • Conductivity

  • Are there any water leaks or visual faults evident at water softening station?

  • Are there any leaks or visual faults evident at LU-WET wetting agent station?

  • LU-WET canister is what percentage full?

  • Take good quality images of the coils, especially showing any surface build-up and foreign matter. Take special consideration to bottom of the unit.

  • Photograph any items flagged for follow up. Include these images within the quarterly report;

  • Are fans and spray system operational at time of inspection, note any concerns?

  • Record high pressure spray pump discharge pressure (as displayed on controller) in KPA

  • Check if pressure Pump and spray solenoids are installed as per IP weatherproof rating, or whether a cover is needed;

  • Check if activation of spray temperature setting (wet) is in line with design data sheet. Log setting

  • Design Temp (C)

  • Actual Temp (C)

  • Please record cooler leaving water set point Temp (C)

  • Please record ACTUAL cooler leaving water Temp (C)

  • Carry out visual inspection of the coil headers, looking for leaks or areas of concern. Take quality images.

  • Log the number of hours of operation of the spray system. (Maximum hours p.a. aprox. 900);

  • Inspect spray tank for cleanliness and also that vermin proof lid and mesh on overflow point installed).

  • Run LU-Wet Dosing Pump and ensure correct supply of chemical is delivered into Tank.

  • Are there any obvious local environmental concerns at the time of the inspection i.e. leaves building up from local trees, chemical drift noted from local pipe vent, etc.

  • Review fault diagnostics on main controller. Record comments on recent faults where applicable.
