Step 2: Advise the Customer that Supply will be Interrupted

Using a Proximity Device, Confirm Supply has been De-Energised

MEN / Main Neutral as found

Remove the MEN Connection and the Main Neutral/s from the Main Neutral Link and Secure

MEN / Main Neutral removed

Place coloured cable ties in the removed conductors Neutral Link Terminals i.e. Black Main Neutral, Green MEN

Using a Multimeter on Ohms setting, Perform Continuity Test to confirm all Main Switches are OPEN

Test between LINE side of Main Switch and Neutral Link/s
Step 8: For a Service

Ensure that any Neutral Bonding Conductor is DISCONNECTED from metallic parts and secured
-
Install the Service and Connect to the Consumer Mains
Step 9: CONFIRM THE SWITCHBOARD IS PREPARED FOR CONNECTION and TESTING AT THE SWITCHBOARD IS IMMINENT

Test to ensure that the disconnected bonding conductor is NOT connected to the Service Active
