  • The guest is aware of essential saftey equipment, including the VHF for emergency’s.

  • The guest has been made aware of essential safety information, local regulations and understands they MUST avoid a collision at all costs.

  • The guest understands collision avoidance and is aware they must avoid a collision at all costs and keep clear of other vessels.

  • The guest understands communication methods with the instructor (VHF or fist in the air to attract attention )

  • The guest understands the reboarding process and the use of the kill cord.

  • The guests understands practical control of the PWC.

Completion

  • For the PWC Rider. You confirm you have been made aware of the above and understand you must operate the PWC at a safe speed and avoid a collision at all costs. The instructor can cease PWC operations at any time if they deem the rider or the conditions to be unsafe. You will now be issued a Royal Yachting Association PWC Safety Certificate which is valid for 3 months and required by many European countries to use a PWC in their waters.
