-
What issues / problems do the workers have with the plant operating in the area?
-
Has the task scheduling within the construction program ensured that mobile plant and equipment operation does not require any workers, light vehicles or other mobile plant or equipment to be working within any POZ.
-
What is being used to separate Mobile Plant from workers
- Mobile Plant Barriers that stop mobile plant
- Pedestrain Barriers that prevent pedestrian entering the POZ
-
Is the mobile plant or equipment temporarily halted prior to a worker entering the POZ.
- Positive Communications between the operator and worker
- All ground engagement tools are set down
- Operator takes hands off controls
- Operator gets out of seat and approaches worker
-
Is the work group aware of hazards which can increase risk around mobile plant such as:-
- Position of POZe Spotters
- Sun Glare

- Radio failure
- Assumption operators have seen pedestrians
-
Is a reliable means of communication in place
