1.0 - PPE Usage

  • 1.1 - All PPE being used where required, all in good repair and clean.

2.0 - Housekeeping

  • 2.1 - Condition of floors, walkways, warehouses, loading bays, loading bays, bagging areas, yard and container areas. Any spills leaks or any tools or equipment or materials left

3.0 - Emergency & Fire fighting system & safety systems

  • 3.1 - Fire equipment & Fire Alarm are in good order & up to date. Eye wash & Kit are intact & functional. Public address system, emergency lighting and their Fire/First aid precautions are available & operational. Safety signs are adequate and posted in strategic locations.

4.0 - Hygiene/Health

  • 4.1 - Lighting is adequate, ventilation sufficient, noise levels acceptable, temperature controlled at office section and acceptable. Common areas are clean and in order.

5.0 - Tools, Equipment and storage

  • 5.1 - Tools, Equipment in good order (Tools, ladders, machine guards) and stored correctly. MV and LV rooms are suitably ventilated and secured. All lifting equipments are tagged and up to date, in good order and clean (including man lifts) . Gas cylinder storage is correctly followed. Stores/Workshops are properly controlled and in order.

6.0 - General conditions

  • 6.1 - Storage of material (pallets leaning), signage, and tags are current, passageways are clear, fire doors not blocked, stairs clear

7.0 - Environmental

  • 7.1 - Materials stored in racks and bins wherever possible?

8.0 - Permit to work

  • 8.1 - All permits to work are current and correctly completed, are on view or can be produced on demand. Any contractors equipment (scaffolding etc) is correctly tagged and secured.

9.0 - External contractors

  • 9.1 - All external contractors working on site have current Safety Induction, full appropriate PPE and are following all company safety guidelines
