Master Liveaboards – Tender Towing checklist

Location

Have you trimmed the outboard engines?

Have you emptied the bilges?

Is the ignition OFF?

If towing at night, is the navigation light ON?

Have you removed any loose objects?

Have you removed the oxygen kit and safety cylinder?

Have you removed portable electronics and communication devices?

Have you secure all the lines? No hanging lines

Is the work area secured with no guests?

Have you checked the main towing line?

Have you checked the safety line (secondary line)?

Have you informed the bridge your tender is ready to get underway?

Have you waited to get confirmation from the bridge about the cruising speed?

Have you subsequently adjusted the towing line length/tension?

Have you subsequently adjusted the secondary line length/tension?

Have you confirmed back to the bridge everything was in order?

Have you closed the chain gates?
