2.3- Does the ward have adequate CCTV coverage?

2.4 - Are staff aware of actions required when a child/baby is missing? (Sample minimum 1 staff member in work area, applicable to MCH and MMH)

3.0 Patient Security

3.1 - Does the ward/area have lock-down?

3.2 - is lock-down fully functional?

3.3 - Are external emergency exits secure?

3.4 - Are patients able to secure their valuables?

4.0 Ward Security

4.1 - Are door locks and grills secure?

4.2 - Are window locks and grills secure?

4.5 - Do staff feel security patrols are sufficient? (Sample minimum 1 staff member. For example lock doors, make note of unusual visitors, check ID, secure cash?)
