  • Does the driver familiar with the timetable for the QSCP service? Does he know where to obtain information for other shifts?

  • Is the driver familiar with the check-in hall in the terminal? IE. Can they assist Airport Pax with questions relating to check in for Qantas, Virgin and International flights?

  • Is the driver familiar with the various zones for pick up and drop off? Can they advise a pax where to find other services? IE Public Bus locations.

Driving skills and Customer Service

  • Is the driver familiar with the vehicle switches and dash layout? Perform raise and lower, air conditioner control and cabin lighting.

  • Did the driver check all pax where secure before releasing the park brake? (Not necessarily seated, but secure)

  • Does the driver have suitable control over the brake and accelerator pedals? Is it a smooth ride for pax?

  • Does the drivers correctly indicate at intersections, roundabouts, merging with traffic and changing lanes?

  • Is the driver considerate of other road users?

  • Does the driver greet and thank pax? Offer assistance and guidance to pax?

  • Does the driver correctly record pax and staff on the daily record sheet?

  • Does the driver use the correct radio procedure to communicate with other staff and operations?
