Check consumables are present:

  • Defibrillation pads

  • ECG dots

  • Razor and paper towel

  • Spare paper roll

  • Adequate amount of recording paper in the printer

Battery care:

  • 1. Press the soft key on the rear of the battery.

  • 2. View the LED bars, if three bars or > battery is OK.

  • 3. If < three LED bars remove battery and place in charger, replace with fully charged battery.

  • Has the above been completed?

Test Unit:

  • 1. Turn the unit on – press and hold the ON button .

  • Await GREEN TICK on screen

  • Has the device passed the USER TEST ?

Check time and date:

  • Does the unit time and computer time correspond?

Perform therapy cable check in manual mode*:

  • * The defibrillator delivers up to 360 joules of electrical energy. Unless discharged properly, this electrical energy may cause serious personal injury or death. Do not attempt to perform this test unless you are qualified by training and experience.

  • 1. Disconnect cable from pads , and attach the test load box. (reconnect post check)

  • 2. press CHARGE, then Select 30 JOULES via the select energy button, then push charge again

  • 2. Press SHOCK.

  • Has the above been completed?
