Minor works H&S checklist

Is there a Site Manager or a competent responsible person on site?

Are all materials and tools stored within the confines of the site / work area and suitably segregated from the public?

Is the H&S site setup completed, including a copy of the Primcipal Safety plan and Site Managers details?

Is a there a copy of the Asbestos survey on site?

Are the contractor first Aider details displayed?

Are all operatives signing in / out ?

Are operatives on site wearing PPE?

Where contractors are using the site facilities are they leaving it clean and tidy at end of the shift?

Are walkways clear and free from debris, materials and tools?

Are all internal works clearly segregated from colleagues and the public?

Are activities that create dust being undertaken?

Are there any noisy operations being carried out?

Are there MEWP being used safely?

Are there any ladders being used safely and have a permit in place?

Are GAS bottles being stored correctly when not in use?

Is the mains equipment tools using 110v?

Are skips suitably barriered off and / or locked to prevent unauthorised use?

Has there been any recorded accidents?
