Your Own Safety

Additional Checklist for Construction Sites

  • Pre Work Brief recorded and signed by all workers.

  • Construction work SWMS available, signed and being followed.

  • Slips, trips and falls managed, trenches and holes covered or barricaded.

  • PPE requirements signposted, and PPE compliance

  • Are the site access and exit points clear and safe

  • Adequate separation of traffic and workers

  • Plant movement on site safe and controlled with separation of LV and HV

  • Work Permits in use for Construction, Hotwork, Excavation, Work at Height.

  • Plant operations. Licenses. Pre use checks recorded. Condition of plant.

  • Lifting equipment. Up to date Tagging; in good condition.

  • Parking is marked and orderly and not spilling onto road network. Separation for pedestrians.

  • Work at Height SWMS, PPE harness appropriately attached.

  • Traffic Management Plan in place and working.
