  • WHY DO WE DO HAZARD INSPECTIONS ? The purpose of this inspection is identify any OHS issues, unsafe equipment or environment at the work site and to identify the appropriate corrective action required to eliminate or control the identified risk.

Candy Bar/Prep Area /Storage Rooms

  • FLOOR and PASSAGE WAYS

  • 1. Are areas free from any trips hazards, eg tear in carpets, loose tiles, etc?

  • 2. Where mats are used, do they non-slip backing; do they lie flat on the floor?

  • 3. Are all floors surfaces non-slip and clear of spills?

  • 4. Are all non-carpeted areas covered with a suitable non-slip surface?
