  • Hard Hat - ANSI/CSA approved, Electricians must have approved class E Dialectric Hard Hat, Welders must wear an approval hardhat and shield at all times

  • Ear Muffs - needed in mill, underground and maintenance, Electricians need approved dielectric ear muffs with no exposed metal parts or arms

  • Safety Toe Footwear - must cover ankle at minimum, Welders must wear leather/rubber boots and have metatarsal guards

  • Safety Glasses - must have side shields or "wrap around" style, Electricians need non-conductive safety eyewear

  • Clothing - must be in good condition (no rips/tears),must have reflective material attached, Electricians need reflective material that is flash rated, Welders must wear fire resistant or cotton overalls

  • Reflective Material - Must be on all coveralls, hard hats and oilers, Underground must have additional high visibility and reflective material on at all times around arms and legs

  • Gloves - must be worn at all times, Electricians need approved leather gloves with leather cuffs

  • Respirators - must be fit tested and kept clean at all times

  • Fall Protecton - All protection must be approved for use
