    Learning activities may include:

    Operational skills: merchandising, stock management, financial integrity, customer focus (CX), retail scorecard, retail rewards, MyPost.

    People skills: time management, team building, coaching and developing others, interview techniques.

    Digital or technological skills: Australia Post systems, tablets, Netpos, EPOS etc.

    Human Resources: payroll (RMSS), collaboration, policies and procedures, ECDP.

    Safety: WHS management, safety leadership, safety circles, safety observations.

    Behavioural competencies: customer focus, coaching, team building, planning and prioritising, decision making, delegating, change management, business acumen, network relationships and conflict resolution.

    Once learning requirements are identified they should be included in a personal development plan.

    An individual development plan (IDP) is a tool that forms a critical component of your development, where applicable also include your performance management.

    Australia Post encourages the application of the 70/20/10 learning model as an effective way of facilitating workplace learning. This is most effective when carried out in the following way.

    Workplace learning should be aligned to identification of:

    How you can further develop your strengths
    What you need to fulfil your future aspirations

    Development objectives should be SMART and explain what knowledge, skills and abilities you plan to acquire.
