Surfaces clear of debris (<25mm runway, <50mm strip/ clearway). Clear of defects. Clear of vegetation (strip/clearway permitted ref CIM). Clear of standing water.

  • Do ramp staff wait for indication from the FA before stairs are positioned within 1m of the aircraft?

  • Do ground staff give indication to FA when stairs are ready for passengers?

  • Do ground staff align the stairs with the aircraft decals when positioning the stairs?

  • Are the stabilised immediately deployed once stairs are in position?
