Check Mechanical Interlocks

General Inspection of Exterior of Equipment

Inspect Doors, Handles and Mechanism for Damage

Check Door Interlocks (Interlocked with Earth Switch)

Check Buttons/Switches for Freedom of Movement and Contact Condition

Inspect for Broken Instruments - Relays/Meters

Inspect Wiring/Earthing for CT's and VT's

Inspect Bus and Support Insulators - Connections Torqued and Marked?

Check condition of wiring and terminal connections

Check Rails, Guides, Rollers and Shutter Mechanism where necessary (Model Dependent)

Check VCB, LBS and Earth Switch AUX Contacts

Final Visual Inspection

Check Electrical Interlocks and Auxiliary Contacts

Check Panel Lights for Operation (Burned or Missing Bulbs)

Operate Close and Trip VCB Controls (Where possible)

Clean Cubicle

Impact Indicators OK?

Marking or Damage -

Check Tap Changer

Check HV and LV Bushings for Leaks

Check LV Compartment

Check Lifting Points, Earthing Terminals and Rating Plate

Check Drain Valve (Leaks or Distortion)

Silica Gel Breather (Check Colour, Ensure Oil is In Base)

Check Buccholz Relay (Oil Level, Leaks, Distortion)

Overpressure Valve (No Damage)
