Start of Shift

  • Check pool gates are locked with no one inside, make sure seats and umbrellas are tidy

Every Night Duties

  • Basement; Perform bike checklist, organise shelves, remove rubbish

  • Laundry; Complete staff washing, clean lint from dryers, change bin bags, sweep and mop floor

  • Common Area; Spray & wipe tables, vacuum & mop floor, rearrange couches & pillows, check luggage room for lost property

  • Upstairs Closes 10pm; Turn music off, warn guests to start clearing out (starting with big groups)

  • Everyone out by 10:30pm; no drinking on property, guests can use TV room to chill, no games or drinking allowed

Kitchen

  • Usual Kitchen Clean; dishes put away, benches & walls wiped, bins emptied & cleaned, toaster & microwave cleaned, rags & chemicals topped up, clean entry door windows

  • Extra Kitchen Clean; Clean windows, clean benches where pots, cups and kitchenware is stored, clean above commercial fans, general deep clean duties

  • Chemicals Refilled; Dishwashing liquid & spray bottles diluted correctly

  • Fridge Temperatures Recorded

  • Fridge Clean Sunday & Thursday; Label or Lose tags, remove old food, clean shelves & windows

  • THURSDAY; Bins put on street for collection

End of Shift

  • Ensure all guests are out of common areas, lights are off, and rubbish is removed

  • Email Shift Handover to Tom & Max; Note any duties not performed & reason why, document all incidents or maintenance issues, note maintenance issues found

  • Last walk around the property

  • Check night phone is on loud and receiving calls
