SAFETY

  • Daily PPE checks are being completed properly prior to employees entering work areas

  • General observations indicate adequate supply of PPE is available

  • Employees have all required PPE on their person at all times with the exception of LOTO in use

  • Employees observed wearing goggles as required - foaming,sanitizing scrubbing, overhead, rinsing, transporting, chemical cage

  • Adequate chemical labels are available,containers labels/tagged properly. (Buckets, tanks foamers, sprayers, vats etc.)

  • Do employees know proper LOTO procedures? Test 2 to 10 employees (depending on size of the facility)<br>

  • We're Lockout Tag Out Violations observed during the audit? (PSSI LOTO Enforcement Guidelines)

  • Are employees , supervisors/managers following PSSI Blender Control & Supervisor Control or LOTO procedures in place?

FOOD SAFETY

  • Corrections to documentation are made properly.

  • Cleaning Procedures training signoffs are up to date (standard= 2 to 4 weeks)

  • Master Sanitation Schedule is current

  • Titration Logo are up to date and accurate according to proper PPM. Etc.

  • MSDS, Letters of Guarantee and labels are available for all chemicals.

  • hand scrubbing is observed to be taking place throughout the facility.

  • Parts , belts etc. are being cleaned off the floor.

  • Final flood rinse removes all spots etc. prior to pre-release inspection. Reduction of water pressure.

  • Employee observed pre-oping areas using proper tools (flashlights etc.)

  • Sanitizer levels are within label guidelines.
